This drink brings to mind the days when oranges were a special Christmas treat:
1 oz Ginger Liqueur (we used Domaine de Canton)
3/4 oz Bourbon
3/4 oz Aperol
3/4 oz Rose Simple Syrup
3/4 oz Orange Juice
5 Drops Chicory-Pecan Bitters (from El Guapo)
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a coupe or martini glass-up.Rub the rim with an orange peel & twist over the drink to release essential oils (express). Drop the peel into the glass.
