Bear Down
  • 2 oz Angel's Envy bourbon (or bourbon of choice)
  • 1 honeycrisp apple, sliced into small pieces
  • 1 pear, sliced into small pieces
  • 0.5 oz Royal Roses Anise simple syrup
  • shake of ground cinnamon
  • brown sugar & cinnamon
  • maple syrup
  • ice
  • more apple & cinnamon sticks to garnish
  1. Add bourbon, apple, pear and simple syrup to shaker.
  2. Muddle well.
  3. Add ice and shake 60 seconds.
  4. Rim glass with maple syrup and dunk into a plate with cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
  5. Add fresh ice to glass.
  6. Pour shaker into fresh glass.
  7. Garnish with extra apple and cinnamon stick.
