Anise Bourbon ABC

1 oz Anise

2oz of Bourbon (replace with unsweetened ice tea for mocktail)

1 thick slice of citrus (we used orange)

Muddle orange slice and bourbon (or tea),  add anise syrup and ice into the shaker, shake, strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with orange twist and star anise.
