Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until fully combined. Add raspberry syrup and beat until well mixed. Mix in eggs. Slowly add in flour, baking soda, and salt until well incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips by hand. Drop by rounded tablespoon on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Top each cookie with a fresh raspberry when they come out. Keep an eye on them as wandering hands may eat before they're cool!
